The First Feeling Is Usually The Most Honest
Mpsychicreadings | JUN 19
The first time you met a person, the first time someone spoke to you about an opportunity, the first feeling you got when a friend walked into the room, or the first feeling you had when she mentioned a specific scenario—those are the nudges.
Pay attention to those initial impressions. Once you develop this awareness, you will begin to recognize those nudges more clearly. When you do a reading, with or without cards, you will be less likely to ignore them.
The first feeling is usually the most honest. It is the feeling that comes before thought, before logic, and before we start dwelling on whether something is what we want. It is often the most innocent and honest response that arises within us.
That does not mean it is always a good or bad choice. Every choice has consequences. However, when we become aware of our first feelings, we begin to understand what we like, who we are, and what triggers us. Remembering our first feelings can also reveal why we react a certain way, what we appreciate, and what may be lacking in our lives.
Taking action on those first feelings is something we must also be mindful of, because we are responsible for the choices we make based on how we feel.
When I do readings for clients, they are ultimately the ones who must choose whether to take action and walk the path before them. A psychic can offer suggestions and point to the paths that the energy may be leading toward in that moment. If we understand and become aware of our first feelings, we strengthen our ability to recognize them. Like a muscle, that awareness grows stronger with practice.
For the next 7 days, keep a small journal and record:
The first feeling you had when you entered a room.
The first feeling you had when speaking with someone.
The first feeling you had when thinking about a goal or opportunity.
At the end of each day, write:
Three things you were grateful for that happened today. Focus on today's experiences rather than long-term blessings.
One thing you appreciate about yourself today.
One thing you appreciate about another person today.
This exercise helps you become more aware of your feelings and the subtle nudges that arise before logic and analysis take over. It also helps balance your attention so that you are not only focused on what is wrong in life, but also on what is good.
The more often you notice these first feelings, the easier it becomes to recognize them during everyday life and during intuitive work.
As you become more aware of your feelings, you begin to understand yourself more deeply. You start to recognize what brings you joy, what drains your energy, what you value, and what feels true to you.
With that awareness, it becomes easier to express yourself authentically. The goal is not for the heart to win over the mind or for the mind to silence the heart. Instead, it is about allowing them to work together.
Many people find themselves acting a certain way because they think they should, while deep inside they feel something different. Over time, this creates tension between what they believe and what they truly feel.
By paying attention to your feelings and the nudges that arise within you, you gain a clearer understanding of who you are. As that understanding grows, your thoughts, choices, and actions begin to align more naturally with what feels true in your heart.
